PSTR SWAG is a family-run Peaster brand, built around family, community, and a pretty simple belief: showing pride in where you live shouldn't have to come with an unreasonable price tag.
Chapter One
How It Started
We're a husband-and-wife team raising our family in Peaster. A while back, life handed us a hard season: an unexpected job loss. Like anybody would, we started thinking about how to fill the gap, and starting something of our own seemed like the natural place to look.
Around the same time, we kept noticing something else: buying Peaster apparel and gear for a whole family adds up quick. We wanted our own kids to wear that pride, and the price tags made something that ought to feel simple feel out of reach more often than it should.
So the question became pretty plain: could we build something that helped our own family, and made it a little easier for other Peaster families to show their pride too?
That question became PSTR SWAG.
Chapter Two
Why Peaster
Our connection to Peaster runs deeper than school spirit. We'd always dreamed of raising our family in a small-town community like this one, and we've taken real pride in making it home.
We have three kids. Two of them attend Peaster today, and we intend for the youngest to follow in good time. As our family has become part of the community, we've wanted to invest back into the place where we're raising our children; and PSTR SWAG is one way of doing that.
Peaster isn't just the market we sell to. It's where our kids are growing up, where our neighbors live, and where we plan to be for a long while.
Chapter Three
More Than Greyhound Gear
Greyhound pride runs deep around here, and we love every bit of it. But Peaster is more than what happens on a field, a court, or a campus - it's the town, the families, the everyday life in between.
That's why the store carries more than Greyhound Gear. Between the General Store, Greyhound Gear, and Peaster Goods, there should be something for parents, kids, students, athletes, fans, families, longtime locals, and folks who simply take pride in calling Peaster home.
What We Stand Behind
Affordable Should Still Feel Good.
Part of why PSTR SWAG exists is the belief that Peaster families shouldn't have to think twice about gear that represents their own town. Keeping prices reasonable isn't a promotion — it's part of the reason we started, and it stays part of how we do things as we grow.
But reasonable doesn't mean cutting corners. The goal is to offer merchandise we'd be comfortable buying, wearing, and giving to our own family. If it wouldn't pass that test, it doesn't belong in the store.
Looking Forward
Growing Alongside Peaster
We're not trying to build the biggest anything. We'd like to build a small local brand that grows alongside Peaster — listening to what folks actually want, collaborating where opportunities make sense, and making merchandise that feels like it truly belongs here.
That's the long game: a store made for this place, by people who live in it.
